Office of the Commission

According to article 13(2) of the Public Service Laws, serving in the Office of the Commission is such number of public officers as may be decided by the Council of Ministers, upon proposal of the Commission, from time to time. One of those public officers shall act as Secretary. The Secretary shall be in charge of the Commission’s Office.

The current Secretary of the Commission is Ms Maria Loizidou-Tsangaridou, Chief Administrative Officer, General Administrative Staff, Department of Public Administration and Personnel.

Currently, 45 permanent public officers serve in the Commission’s Office. Out of these, 14 fall within the General Administrative Staff and 27 within the General Clerical Staff. Furthermore, one Information Technology Officer and one Assistant Operation Officer of the Department of Information Technology Services, are placed at the Commission’s Office.
